Jerry Tagge caps the drive from the one with a dramatically historic stretch of the football over the goal line. Tagge's steady guiding hand in combination with his 153 yards passing and 45 yards rushing help win him the games Most Valuable Back trophy. The Blackshirts take the cue from the offense and turn it up a notch in the 4th, shutting down the Tigers the rest of the way to preserve the win.
