October 27, 2012 - Lincoln, NE. The Wolverines make their first trip to Lincoln since 1911 sitting atop the standings in the Legends Division with a one-game lead over the Huskers. After a scoreless 1st quarter, the Huskers go on top 7-0 on a 32-yard touchdown pass from Taylor Martinez to Kenny Bell. Michigan kicks two field goals in the second quarter but lose quarterback Denard Robinson to a wrist injury. The Huskers take a 7-6 lead into halftime and outscore the Wolverines 16-3 in the second half for the win. Running back Ameer Abdullah has his 4th 100-yard rushing performance of the season and scores the game winning touchdown with 10:19 left to play. The Blackshirts take advantage of Robinson's absence picking off backup quarterback Russell Bellomy three times and allowing just 52 yards of total offense in the second half. The Huskers get the 23-9 victory at home and leave the field at the top of the Legends Division standings with 4 games left to play. Includes video footage of entire game as filmed by Husker Vision.
