Rare TeamMates 25th Anniversary Osborne autographed football. Part of the centerpiece from the tables at the 25th TeamMates Gala Dinner in the fall of 2016, this ball is one of just a few commemorating the 25 years of the TeamMates Mentoring Program. TeamMates was found by Tom and Nancy Osborne in 1991. It serves over 6,000 at-risk children in the midwest by matching them with caring volunteers who work to keep them connected to their schools and families and letting them know they are worthwhile and are cared for. TeamMates has had an amazing success rate, profoundly raising graduation rates, reducing delinquency and drug use, and improving grades. TeamMates has seen the full cycle of mentoring. Those who've been mentored have grown, succeeded, and returned to the program to become mentors themselves. The legacy of Tom and Nancy Osborne may be known in this world mostly for football, but the generational ripple effects of TeamMates through families it has touched will be the thing that brings smiles in the world to come.
